My name is
Shadi Nael Al-Tabatibi, a photographer and visual storyteller from Gaza.
I began my journey with photography in 2013, when I bought my first camera with my own savings. What started as a personal passion soon grew into a profession that allows me to tell stories of both
beauty and struggle through the lens.
Over the years, I have expanded from documenting everyday life in Gaza to
photojournalism and drone photography, where I found a unique way to capture the world from above. Using drones, I reveal perspectives that are rarely seen, from the hidden beauty of my city to the harsh realities of war and destruction.
My work has been recognized locally and internationally, showcased in exhibitions, investigations, and media outlets across the world. I have also had the honor of training younger journalists, helping them develop their own voices in storytelling.
My VisionThrough my lens, I aim to
document truth and resilience: the human cost of conflict, the strength of communities, and the beauty that survives even in the hardest times. Photography for me is not only an art, it is a responsibility to give voice to stories that must be seen and remembered.
